Our goal is to give each camper an interesting, safe and most of all fun experience and we need enthusiastic staff who love the outdoors and want to share that enthusiasm with our campers. Eureka Camp Society is currently taking applications for our summertime residential camp program. Eureka Camp offers a unique opportunity to work with children and adolescents, ages 8 -18 with invisible disabilities such as ADHD, mild autism, learning disabilities etc.
As a candidate you must be 19 years of age and should have previous volunteer or summer camp work experience. Specific training in the field of Invisible Disabilities - Learning Disabilities is an asset. Students enrolled in University/Community College outdoor education, classroom and community support programs will also benefit from this meaningful work experience.

If you have: POST SECONDARY EDUCATION IN RECREATION, EDUCATION OR RELATED FIELD-PREVIOUS RESIDENTIAL OR SUMMER CAMP EXPERIENCE-EXPERIENCE WITH CHILDREN WITH NEUROLOGICAL DEFICITS EXCELLENT VERBAL AND WRITTEN COMMUNICATION SKILLS--ENERGY AND ENTHUSIASM-A LOVE OF THE OUTDOORS-AN INTEREST AND EMPATHY FOR KIDS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS
We offer: NINE WEEKS EMPLOYMENT-A REWARDING AND INTERESTING OUTDOOR EXPERIENCE AT TWO DIFFERENT LOCATIONS IN BC, ALL BEAUTIFUL!
Must Have: (before camp start date)
FIRST AID AND CPR-CURRENT CERTIFICATION.
COMPLETED CRIMINAL RECORDS CHECK
Nice to Have:
CLASS 4 DRIVERS LICENSE
WILDERNESS FIRST AID CERTIFICATION
